Djeree
Djëf le touriste is best known for his restless inertia and
his obvious affection for tiny plastic bricks of Danish origin,
which represent his structural chaos. Djeree Djëf le
touriste is also known as “Discoman” as a result of
his prenatal 1972 hit “I’m a discoman”. His
roots go back to Charlemagne, whose paternal aunt back in the
Dark Ages was infamous for conducting experiments with hapless
minstrels. He first met his guitar in a self-help group for
sufferers of chalk phobia. Every year he spends a period of
retreat in a fortress in the Black Forest, where it is claimed
that he consorts with Gaullish women in order to start his own
banana republic. Intuition, he believes, manifests itself in
these blonde, shapely and stunning Gaullish women, with whom he
seeks intercourse. Along with his passion for Mikado played in
total darkness, he often admiringly contemplates his goldfish
for its fleet-footedness. His excessive debauchery and his
insistence on living his dark side to the full are well
documented in the gutter press. He also finds he is increasingly
popular with manufacturers of bar counters.
